Barravas, Vila de Gracia

Barravas is a delightful tapas restaurant located on Carrer de Mozart, just a few footsteps away from Plaça de la Vila de Gràcia, a well-known square in Gracia, famous for its 33 meter-high clock tower. The restaurant has interesting decoration and subtle lighting, it provides a very comfortable atmosphere that is enjoyed by both younger and older people alike.

We went on a Friday night with our Mexican friend Pablo to have some dinner and it was an amazing experience.

Our opinions
Eeva – “I love this place! All the dishes were amazing and the coulant is to die for. It left me speechless. Service was excellent and super friendly as well, we felt very welcomed.  I can’t believe you can have this kind of experience for such an affordable price. I will eat there as many times as possible in the nearby future.”

Rafa – “This is definitely one of my favourite tapas restaurants in Barcelona. The combination of bravas, pan con tomate and the cheese board was outstanding, with flavours ranging from mild to strong, each of these dishes provided a delightful experience. I especially liked the tomato jam that came with the cheese board, it was a very nice detail and it complemented the dish beautifully. The croquetas and the sandwich were amazing as well but I was even more surprised by the quality of the chocolate coulant, we finished it so quickly that I think we should’ve ordered two of those! This is one of those places where I’ll be going back as many times as possible.”

Pablo – “The bravas are amazing, to the extent that I could go there and only have that for dinner. But then also the pan con tomate, the cheese platter, and the coulant are so good that I’m still undecided about what I enjoyed the most. Therefore, I’d recommend to try them all out. And I’d also advice to arrive early to the restaurant, since it can get a tad loud inside, which to be fair, is only when it gets full and people have been drinking.
