Pim Pam Burger, El Born

Pim Pam Burger is a small burger joint hidden in the beautiful streets of Barcelona’s El Born neighborhood, it’s located just minutes away from the famous Born Cultural Center, home to market ruins from the 1700s, and the picturesque Passeig del Born. This area is quite popular with tourists (although a bit more relaxed compared to the notorious ‘El Gótico’), you will be surrounded by sunny terraces, trendy bars and tasty tapa restaurants, and while all of these things are as attractive as they sound, sometimes you might feel the need to simply have a quick meal in the middle of a downtown Barcelona exploration session.

We went there on a beautiful sunny afternoon to enjoy one of their burgers and we were definitely not let down.

Our opinions
Eeva – “Whenever I’m craving fries, I always head to Pim Pam Burger. The fries are big and the price and quality are definitely in balance. For me the saddest moment is when someone brings you mushy fries, luckily that’s not the case there. I usually order the Pim Pam burger, but this time I wanted to try out something new and I was really happy with my choice. I’m a bit skeptical when it comes to chicken burgers and sometimes I feel that they are a bit boring compared to beef burgers, but the one in this restaurant is actually really good since the chicken was nicely seasoned and cooked. The chicken was tender inside and a bit crispy outside, simply delicious. I love their buns, spicy sauce and condiments and overall everything goes really well together. I will definitely come back here many times

Rafa – This has always been a reliable spot to get a good burger and fries. I usually order their original burger, which is not too flashy and comes with very basic toppings, but it’s definitely satisfying. Their orders of fries are really nice as well, they are quite big and delightfully crispy. They also have really good condiments, their mustard is one of the best I’ve had in any american-style burger restaurant, I’ve realized several popular burger places in Barcelona suffer from having very low quality condiments that simply end up ruining your burger instead of enhancing the flavours, but that’s not the case here at all, so I definitely have to give props to whoever is in charge of the sauces at Pim Pam Burger.
